FIELD: radioactive metal technology. SUBSTANCE: uranium hexafluoride and gas carrier are fed into irreversible plasma and proceeding of exothermic reactions in reactor space is established to give oscillation-excited products, which take part in dissociation of uranium hexafluoride molecules. Irreversible plasma is created be exposing uranium hexafluoride- gas carrier (nitrogen or hydrogen) mixture to pulse electron beam with pulse duration 10-5 sec. Processing of uranium hexafluoride is conducted by adding gas diluent (inert gas) to uranium hexafluoride-gas carrier mixture until summary pressure ensuring complete absorption of pulse electron beam energy is reached.
