FIELD: agriculture; water wells. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water supply system being designed for automatic draining of liquid in pipelines to protect water towers from freezing of water. Proposed automatic drain valve contains housing with inlet and outlet holes which accommodates lever with shutoff member, one end of lever being hinge-connected with housing and the other is bent, drain unit made in form of drain pipe with seat arranged on side surface of housing, and fork. Lever is provided with weight which thrust on housing inner generating surfaces at side opposite to seat for closing shutoff member at increasing pump delivery at minimum delivery moment. Seat and contact surface of shutoff member with seat are made flat. Seat, lever fork are made of plastics. Device for delivering water well into tower includes also submersible pump with check valve connected with tower through delivery pipeline with upper water delivery into tower, gate and above-indicated automatic drain valve. EFFECT: improved reliability of device and service life of pumps and wells, enhanced water supply, reduced service expenses. 3 cl, 3 dwg
