FIELD: gas storage equipment, particularly vehicular gas storage equipment, for example for onboard hydrogen storage device having power plant based on electrochemical generator. SUBSTANCE: vessel comprises sealed case, inner container, filling-emptying pipe having shutoff valve and gas discharge pipe having shutoff valve. Shield with pipeline is located around inner container. Shield and inner container upper end have orifices communicating with sealed case. One end of shield pipeline is connected to gas discharge pipeline, another end of shield pipeline is introduced into inner container. Relation between inner container volume Vin and sealed case volume Vout is calculated by the following equation: where P is gas pressure into vessel, Pa; ρ is density of liquefied gas loading into inner container, kg/m3; R is gas constant of liquefied gas, J/(kg*K); T is gas storage temperature into vessel, K. Inner container mass MC is estimated as the following: where M gas consumption for inner container cool-down, kg; r - evaporation heat, J/kg; Cp - heat capacity of inner container material, J/(kg*K); T0 is inner container initial temperature, K; TL is liquefied gas temperature, K.
