FIELD: television engineering. SUBSTANCE: television set that has one monochromatic picture tube for each of three main colors (red, green, and blue) has its circuit provided with memory for saving correction values of beam convergence for three picture tubes which are used by this circuit to generate output signals arriving to correction device. The latter has at least one correction coil with its respective driving circuit. In this way correction current is induced in respective correction coil to correct image defect caused by picture tube. In addition control means incorporated in beam convergence circuit for controlling output signals enables same correction for respective driving circuit irrespective of its gain.
