BERRY GATHERING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for gathering berries from bush plants. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has frame with carrier wheels. Frame incorporates divider, agitators with spring fingers, vibration exciter kinematically connected to agitators, drive and berry catchers. Vibration exciter has eccentric arranged between toothed gears mounted in guides for longitudinal displacement. Toothed gear with outer and inner toothed cones is mounted on shaft of each agitator. Outer cone is connected to respective toothed rack and inner cone is coupled through satellite gear to gear rigidly connected to activator shaft. Apparatus is preferably used for harvesting of melanocarpous ash or raspberry berries. EFFECT: increased efficiency owing to complete separation of berries from branches, reduced damage to branches and improved quality of commercial product. 3 dwg
