FIELD: tobacco industry. SUBSTANCE: machine has device for cutting stick 2 of tobacco 3 movable along predetermined path P. Cutting device has two tubular cutting members 10,12 arranged one inside another and provided with toothed annular end edges 14,15 having contacting portion arranged on path P of stick 2. Cutting members are positioned for rotation at different angular speeds around axes 11,13 substantially in parallel with path P for cutting of stick 2. Inner tubular cutting member 12 may be in fluid communication with vacuum device. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency owing to maintaining of high operating rates. 10 cl, 5 dwg
