FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: the innovation deals with new medicinal preparation as eye drops including lipoic acid in the form of solution of 0.1 and 1% concentration as active (antioxidant) substance. Data are obtained on accumulation of products of cytotoxic action of lipid peroxidation (LPO) in moisture of anterior ocular chamber. The concentration of these products increases as pathological process develops. The suggested eye drops provide neutralization of toxic impact of these products, in case of glaucoma, especially.
