FIELD: waterproofing materials. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of polymeric, building, and waterproofing materials appropriate for manufacture of roofing, waterproofing hermetics, and maintenance materials used for protection of various constructions, underground pipelines, mains, and storage houses against moisture and condensate. Coating mass comprises plasticized bituminous binder and filler, the former being partially vulcanized with industrial-grade sulfur in presence of sulfur-containing vulcanization accelerator (sulfenamide) jointly oxidized blend composed of bitumen and preliminarily prepared 15% solution of ethylene/propylene rubber in mazut/kerosene or in mazut/nephros mixture at weight ratio of bitumen to rubber solution (65-75):(20-30). Amount of mazut in its mixtures is 18-25 wt parts when amounts of ground elementary sulfur and sulfenamide are 0.5-1.5 wt parts each. As filler, coating mass industrial-grade sulfur in total component mixture is present in amount 5-30 wt parts. Temperature of coating mass preparation process ranges from 100 to 190 C.
