FIELD: mechanical engineering; two-stroke internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed two-stroke internal combustion engine contains piston and cylinder with intake and exhaust ports. Cutoff valve is installed between exhaust port and exhaust branch pipe made in form of cylindrical body to provide discharge of combustion products through hole of valve and to feed air from air line through exhaust port into cylinder. According to invention, spiral space is formed in cutoff valve body from one edge of hole to let out gases to its other edge, said space uniformly contracts decreasing to zero. EFFECT: improved process of gas exchange in two-stroke engine, practically without losses, possibility of using combination lubrication system. 11 dwg
