FIELD: oil producing oil refining and retrochemical industries. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment oil reservoirs and in designed for sealing gas space of reservoirs filled with oil and oil products to maintain pressure and vacuum within preset limits. Proposed breathing valve contains housing with cover, sides and flange, roof adapter, fire barrier cassette. Said cassette is secured between housing flange and adapter. Vacuum and pressure shutoff devices include seats and plates covered by frost-resistant film. Plates interact with seats being fastened to housing by means of flexible members. Circular groove is made on each plate in zone of contact with seat. Front-resistant film is secured on nonworking surface of plates by means of imbedded ring rolled down together with film over perimeter of plate. Width of circular groove on plate of vacuum shutoff device exceeds width of circular groove on plate of pressure shutoff device. EFFECT: reduced consumption of material for manufacture of housing and roof of valve, improved fire resistance and reliability in operation. 4 cl, 4 dwg
