FIELD: containers for storage.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment of tanks in oil, oil refining and petrochemical industry and is intended for protection of tanks with oil products from penetration of flame from outside. In device base and cover flanges on facing each other sides are equipped with sealing rings, connecting elements on one side are made of plates rigidly connected to the base and cover flanges, providing a distance between the flanges of not less than the fire extinguisher cartridge thickness, base flange on opposite side of plates from below is equipped with a projection with a radial threaded hole, at that, the fire extinguisher cartridge from above and from below is equipped with mounting rings having corresponding winding chamfers along the outer perimeter, providing a total thickness equal to the distance between the flanges, and made with possibility of interaction with corresponding sealing rings after installation, one of the connecting elements is made in the form of an L-shaped retainer, the vertical plank of which is equipped with a threaded hole similar to the threaded hole of the projection of the base flange, wherein horizontal plate of L-like retainer can interact from above with cover flange while threaded hole can be aligned with threaded hole of ledge from outside to be locked by one screw for complete assembly.

EFFECT: proposed flame arrester of breather valve allows quick and easy replacement of the fire extinguisher cartridge during servicing.
