FIELD: heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas high-capacity water heaters and it can be used for heating water and noncombustible water solutions in different industries. Invention is aimed at creating reliable gas high-capacity heater by preventing corrosion of flue tubes by excluding condensing of water vapors inside tubes. According to invention, in water heater containing reservoir with roof accommodating L-shaped flue tubes whose horizontal sections are connected to burner assembly and are arranged on supports installed on reservoir bottom under vertical sections, each provided with coaxially arranged branch pipe, length of horizontal section of each of L-shaped flue tubes is chosen to comply with present dependence. Water heater is additionally furnished with control unit connected to temperature transmitter placed inside reservoir on its wall, and connected to burner assembly, explosion valve, gas heaters rigidly secured on reservoir wall and arranged coplanar relative to each horizontal section of L-shaped flue tubes.
