FIELD: medicine, otolaryngology. SUBSTANCE: at the background of medicinal therapy, tracheal intubation and physiotherapy it is necessary to make an impact upon affected parts of laryngeal mucosa behind the walls of intubation tube with air-gaseous flow containing 2000 - 2500 mg/cu. m nitrogen monoxide for 30-90 sec daily, at 3-8 seances/course. The present innovation decreases terms of intubation, prevents complications in the form of scar laryngeal and tracheal stenosis due to permeability of air-gaseous flow of nitrogen monoxide between the walls of intubation tube and mucosa and direct impact upon affected parts of mucosa that, in its turn, leads to stimulation of epithelization, improved circulation, decreased mucosal edema, activation of fibroblasts. EFFECT: higher efficiency in preventing infection of affected mucosa. 2 ex
