FIELD: concentration of minerals; processing ore mass directly on site of deposit. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes flooding of area of mass, disintegration of mass and bringing it in suspended state by shock waves. Treatment of mass by shock waves is effected both by surface and submersible sources. Pulp is aerated by delivery of air to lower point of pit at simultaneous delivery of reagents. Foam product is positively removed via foam chute. Mud fraction and coarse-piece fraction of concentration tailings settle by layers at area of deposit. During disintegration of mass by shock waves, coarse material settles down quicker and is accumulated in lower portion of zone. Mud settles slow forming layer above coarse-piece fraction which is removed to mud receiver either positively or by gravity. Coarse-piece fraction remains at site of deposition for subsequent additional extraction of valuable component by heap leaching, for example. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 6 cl, 2 dwg
