FIELD: nonferrous industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to producing alumina and can be used for processing disthene-andalusite-sillimanite concentrates. Method for processing disthene-andalusite-sillimanite concentrates involves preparing charge and it caking. Preparing charge is carried out using disthene-andalusite-sillimanite concentrates, lime, soda and additional alkaline alumosilicate raw in the mass ratio alkaline alumosilicate raw to disthene-andalusite-sillimanite concentrates = (0.1-1.0) : 1.0. Caking is carried out at temperature 1250-1300 C and cake is leached out. Invention provides reducing skull-formation in furnace, to reduce caking point, to enhance cake quality and to reduce soda consumption. EFFECT: improved processing method. 3 tbl, 1 dwg
