FIELD: transportable boring equipment engineering. SUBSTANCE: device is designed for boring in stone or concrete and for polishing with use of abrasive materials. Device has housing, engine, torsional oscillator and spindle. Torsional oscillator is formed as sun-and- planet gear with variable transmissive ratio of variable signs. Ratio values are mostly like-sign. Oscillator has two central wheels, one of which is not circular in form and may be fixed to the housing or spindle, driving planet carrier with balancing counterweight, and axis of double-row satellites for securing kinematic relation between planet carrier and spindle. Device operation is based on converting the even rotation of planet carrier to cyclic alternating-sign rotation of spindle with either positive or negative predominant movement direction.
