FIELD: engines for boring horizontal or slanted wells in areas of shaft incurvature. SUBSTANCE: engine has moveable section with hollow rotor connected to resilient torsion bar at its upper end, spindle section with body connected to body of moveable section by means of curved switcher, and a joint for connecting spindle shaft to resilient torsion bar. Joint has grooved driving sleeve connected to housing having an inner butt-end, driven nipple having a fixed finger, and elastic corrugated casing, forming an operating enclosure together with the housing. Axes of sleeve and nipple are perpendicular to each other. Operating enclosure is filled with oiling fluid. Fingers have inserts in grooves of driving sleeve. Interacting butt-ends of nipple and sleeve are provided with removable abutment and elastic bearing support. EFFECT: increased durability and load capacity of engine. 4 dwg
