FIELD: agriculture, in particular, poultry farming. SUBSTANCE: battery has cages arranged on tiered carcass. Each cage has front grid, rear and side grids, inclined floor grid with inner and outer parts, feeder mounted along front grid, passage for rolling eggs, egg collector positioned under feeder, and bird dung pan positioned under inner part of inclined floor grid. Each cage is additionally provided with inclined cutoff sheet adapted for catching of spilled bird dung and positioned so that its upper part is arranged outside cage below passage for rolling eggs and is fixed on outer part of inclined floor grid. Lower part of said sheet is inserted into lower cage above inner part of inclined floor grid and bird dung pan. EFFECT: improved sanitary and hygienic bird keeping conditions and, accordingly, reduced bird sick rate. 4 dwg
