FIELD: apiculture, in particular, equipment for temporary isolating of sealed master batch or queen. SUBSTANCE: breeding cage has case and cover provided with guiding members extending in parallel with longitudinal axis of breeding cage. Guiding members of case and cover are joined to close cage upon displacement of case relative to cover along longitudinal axis of breeding cage. Cover has receptacle for attachment of artificial, in particular, plastic master batch embryo and is provided with members for attachment of cover on plank of inoculating frame. Cover is further provided with side wall of dish arranged adjacent to receptacle for fixing of artificial master batch embryo so that after attachment of artificial bottom of dish in said receptacle, artificial bottom is integral with dish wall to define single dish. Breeding cage has retainers for preventing cover from being opened at random and catches arranged on cover and adapted for flexible member, which attaches master batch formed on wax dish on said cover. EFFECT: reduced rejection, decreased volume of work, reduced labor intensity for queen breeding and obtaining of mother liquor. 5 cl, 3 dwg
