APPARATUS FOR EXERCISING OF SPORTSMAN'S STRIKING MOTIONS Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: sportive exercising equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has slide mounted inside case, spring-loaded pressure plate adapted for contacting with slide and arranged in case longitudinal slot, member for moving of pressure plate to initial position, rod, and flexible member running around rod. Pressure plate is equipped with pressure force regulating mechanism arranged beyond case. Rod has restricting apertures for fixing predetermined length of flexible member. Case is mounted for axial displacement along rod. Pressure plate is mounted for rotation in longitudinal slot and for reciprocation along axis perpendicular to case axis. Apparatus is further equipped with unit adapted for moving rod to initial position and connected to one end of rod through flexible tie-rod. Other end of rod is connected through flexible tie-rod to hook. Contact part of pressure plate is made rounded to provide for point surface of contacting with slide. Slide is made in the form of sphere with internal opening for rod and for fixing sphere on rod, which is also equipped with member for fixing it in initial position. Case is made immovable. Apparatus may be provided with device simulating sportive apparatus for designation of strike site and returning to its initial position. Apparatus may be used by sportsmen engaged in such sports events such as football, high tennis, volleyball, as well as by common sports amateurs.
