FIELD: different gases cleaning and drying. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a filter member, that may be used for different gases cleaning with simultaneous drying. The offered filter member includes: two or more concentrically inserted one into another cylinders, the walls of which are made of the thermoplastic polymer fibers thermally fixed in places of the fibers intersections. At that a diameter of fibers, that form the first cylinders (along the run of the cleaned gas) is bigger and the density of their laying is lower, than in the following cylinders. Spaces between the cylinders are filled in with the granular hygroscopic material, which particles sizes are within the limits from 0.05 up to 1 mm, and the mean diameter of pores of the first (along the run of the cleaned gas) cylinder is no more than 0.05 mm to prevent the granular material pouring out. Total thickness of all layers with the granular material of the filter member is no less than 60 mm. In the capacity of a thermoplastic polymer it is possible to use polyethylene or polypropylene, and in the capacity of the granular material - silica gel or calcium chloride. The service life of such filter members may be increased by replacement of the first cylinders (along the run of the cleaned gas) and by regeneration of the granular material (using calcination). EFFECT: high efficiency and a long term of operation. 3 cl, 1 tbl
