FIELD: railway transport; electrified railways. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to clamp for connecting dropper and contact wire in contact system. According to invention, in dropper clamp of contact wire containing yoke installed on contact wire and yoke for dropper, both made by stamping from copper-based alloy and connected by bolt and nut, bolt has round head and square neck. Hole of yoke installed on contact wire has form to suit form of section of bolt neck, while hole of yoke for dropper is made round. Overall dimensions of nut and bolt are made to provide equality of angles formed by intersection of vertical axis of clap at rest by straight lines passing through extreme points of bolt and head tangentially relative to extreme points of section of contact wire, and overall dimensions of head and bolt neck should comply with the following dependences: H ≤ 0,5d (I), D=1.0-2.5d (2), H1 ≥ 0,5d (3), A ≥ 0,5d (4), where H is height of bolt head, mm; D is diameter of bolt head, mm; H1 is height of bolt neck, mm; d is diameter of bolt thread, mm.
