FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices used to steer vehicles by means of differential drive of propulsion units arranged at opposite sides of vehicle using hydraulic drive. Invention is designed for crawler and traction vehicles. Proposed mechanism contains housing, final drive with driving gear 1 and driven gear 2, symmetrical power differential mechanically coupled with gear 2, control system including hydraulic motor 9 and coaxially arranged support planetary reduction gear and control planetary differential mechanically coupled with hydraulic motor 9. bevel gear differential is used as symmetrical power differential. Carrier 3 of said differential is rigidly engaged with gear 2, and side gears 5 and 6 are in meshing, each, with its axle-shaft 7, 8. sun gears 15, 19 of control differential and support reduction gears are rigidly engaged. Epicycle 16 is connected with steering mechanism housing. Epicycle 12 is mechanically coupled with hydraulic motor 9. Carrier 17 is connected with side gear 5 and axle-shaft 7. differential with paired planet pinions can be used as symmetrical power differential. EFFECT: reduced power losses. 3 cl, 3 dwg
