FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to self-propelled wheeled and crawler vehicles employing transmission with hydrostatic steering mechanism drive. Proposed vehicles contains transmission including two final differential summing up rows and hydraulic hydrostatic steering mechanism drive. Said hydrostatic drive includes hydraulic coupled adjustable hydraulic pump and hydraulic motor, drive being coupled with driving wheels connected with track tensioner. Traction motor is mechanically coupled with differential rows to provide transmission of first power flow through first inputs of final differential summing up rows to driving wheels and transmission of second power flow to driving wheels through hydrostatic drive of steering mechanism and second inputs of final differential summing up rows. First power flow provides straight-ahead movement, and second power flow, turning of vehicle. Hydraulic motor is made controllable, with initial zero working volume, and its control member is coupled with mechanism setting zero working volume of hydraulic motor when traction motor is out of operation. Track tensioner is coupled with mechanism setting zero working volume of hydraulic motor by means of negative feedback.
