FIELD: metallurgy; production of deformable alloy based on cobalt for dental prosthetics. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a deformable alloy based on cobalt for dental prosthetics. The invention may be used in metallurgy, in particular, for production of corrosion-proof alloys based on cobalt and intended for casting skeletons of the clasp and whole cast dentures, as well as other products, Which need high strength, hardness, elasticity and plasticity. Technical result of the invention is the increase of output of up to 75-80 % good product at hot conversion with preservation of a high level of mechanical and foundry properties as well as corrosion resistance. The alloy contains the following components: carbon, silicon, manganese, chromium, molybdenum, nickel, iron, cobalt and inevitable impurities, yttrium and a boron at the following ratio of components (in mass %): Carbon - 0.35-0.50, silicon - 0.6-1.3, manganese - 0.3-0.8, chromium - 27.5-30.0, molybdenum - 0-6.0, nickel - no more than 0.6, iron - no more than 0.4, yttrium - 0.001-0.020, boron - 0.001-0.020, cobalt and inevitable impurities - the rest. At that contents of carbon, chromium, molybdenum, and also silicon and manganese are taken in the following ratio linked by the following dependences: [%C]+[%Cr]+[%Mo] = 32.5 ÷ 36.0, [%Si]+[%Mn] = l.0 ÷ 2.0.
