FIELD: packers for casing strings. SUBSTANCE: device has body in form of cylindrical pipe with central passage, inlet with reverse valve, cover on a body, which is connected to inlet and central passage. Cover is made of a layer of elastic resilient material. Central part of cover is in form of a prism, side surfaces of which are covered by outer layer made of highly elastic material with thickness, surpassing size of irregularities on well surface. Perimeters of cross-section of cover central part in position for storing and in position for operation are equal. Cover end portions are formed as blunted cones. Inside the housing a means for creating uniform pressure of fluid on the housing is mounted and interconnected with the housing. In both upper and lower parts of the body cone-shaped perforated housings are fixed for covering end portions of cover for preventing friction between cover and well walls during lowering and raising of packer in the well and for covering well cross-section where packer is placed during supplying of fluid into the cover. Cover is moveable axially in case of deformations caused by well fluid pressure in space behind the column. Body has overlapped reverse passages, and regulating passages, by means of which the space behind column above and below the packer is connected with the inside of cover.
