FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for vibration isolators which can be used in different industries. Proposed shock absorber contains housing, round movable in axial direction and fixed members with permanent magnets placed in between. Movable member of shock absorber is located between two fixed members being elastically, installed in housing by means of flat ring made of magnetic rubber secured over its periphery. Ring permanent magnets are concentrically installed on surfaces of fixed members pointed to movable in zone of flat ring. Outer surfaces of permanent magnets pointed to movable member are made with exponential tilting in radial direction towards center of fixed members to provide smooth contact with flat ring magnets at axial displacements of movable member. EFFECT: improved efficiency of vibration isolation at resonance and improved reliability of structure. 1 dwg
