FIELD: measurement technology, radio engineering, metrology. SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for precision measurement of phase difference of signal pair and of its change in time which is important for design of laser vibration meters and other devices in which little high-frequency changes of phase carry information on investigated processes. Phase-meter incorporates time-setting unit, at least one pair of aids for isolation of difference frequency, each coming in the form of analog-to-digital converter, aid collecting and processing measurement data on present phase difference. EFFECT: increased accuracy of uninterrupted measurement of spectrum of small high-frequency components of phase deviation. 2 cl, 6 dwg
