FIELD: electrical engineering; variable-speed drives for small vehicles, domestic appliances, pump units, and other mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: ac converter-fed inductor-motor drive has speed governing circuit; power converter whose output is connected to motor phase windings; phase selector switch whose inputs are connected to outputs of phase turn-on angle control and phase turn-off angle control and outputs, to phase selection inputs of power converter; motor-shaft mounted speed sensor and rotor position sensor, output of the latter being connected to third input of phase selector switch. Newly introduced in drive are constant-factor multiplier unit and series circuit set up of proportional amplifier incorporating provision for output signal limiting, multiplying unit, and adder; inputs of proportional amplifier incorporating provision for output signal limiting and constant-factor multiplier unit are connected to speed governor output; connected to second input of adder is output of constant-factor multiplier unit; additional multiplier unit input is connected to speed sensor output and adder output is connected to voltage control input of power converter. Performance characteristics of drive are characterized in constant torque without current feedback. EFFECT: simplified design of drive due to eliminating current circuit. 1 cl, 4 dwg
