FIELD: communications engineering. SUBSTANCE: mobile communication station is used in wireless communication network for measuring respective times of arrival of radio signals transferred by plurality of respective radio transmitters in network. Mobile communication station is provided with information about real time difference pointing to difference between synchronization used by radio transmitter servicing mobile communication station and respective synchronization employed by other radio transmitters. In response to information about real time difference and synchronization used by radio transmitter servicing mobile communication station the latter determines plurality of time moments when respective radio signals are expected to arrive at mobile communication station. Mobile communication station checks for arrival of each radio signal within time period after moment of expected arrival of radio signal. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of checking for arrival of radio signal at definite time moment. 46 cl, 8 dwg
