SHANK FOR LOCAL APPLICATION OF MINERAL FERTILIZER Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: agriculture, in particular, equipment used in cultivation of tilled crops. SUBSTANCE: shank has subsoiler point attached to cultivator frame, and fertilizer guide. Fertilizer guide is made from whole plate of soft steel having height of 260 mm and length of 140-166 mm. Plate is running around subsoiler point and narrowing in lower part so that space between plate sides in lower part is 60-70 mm. Shank may be used for cultivating of soil of any moisture content to predetermined depth within the range of 20 cm and is not clogged with wet soil. It may be used for local applying of fertilizer upon basic soil cultivation, cutting of ridges and beds, presowing treatment and plant feeding.
