FIELD: mining; chemical, metallurgical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of concentration, that may be used in mountain, chemical, metallurgical and other industries. The method is realized by separation of heavy and precious metals from the comminuted mineral mass presented in the form of a pulp in the aqueous medium at the ratio from 1:4 till 1:20 s/l in two stages. At the first stage the pulp is fed into the first chamber made in the form of slant channel, in the capacity of which they use the cylindrical rods mounted in the bottom part of the launder perpendicularly to the stream running direction for making a zone of the stream underspeed traffic above a hole the bottom part. The running stream above the hole is divided by a shutter with an adjustable canting angle. At the second stage an earlier obtained heavy fraction is fed with adding water to the second slant launder, the bottom of which has a hole, to which an arrester is fixed intended to trap the heaviest metal particles out of the stream of the pulp and in front of which there is at least one cylindrical rod installed perpendicularly to the traffic route of the stream of the pulp. The concentrate from the arrester of the second launder is removed. EFFECT: the invention allows to increase efficiency of concentration process at reduction of costs. 5 cl, 3 dwg
