FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely pressing articles of powdered materials. SUBSTANCE: method for pressing powdered materials in volume restricted by active and passive shaping surfaces of solid or composite members of closed press-mold due to their mutual motion along pressing axis while transmitting pressing effort through active shaping surfaces. Single closed parallel to pressing axis surface of pressed article is formed by means of parts of passive shaping surface of two different shaping members. It is possible to impose ultrasonic oscillations on members of press-mold. In description of invention press-mold is offered for performing the method.
