FIELD: heat engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices using electric energy to produce heat. According to invention, in electric heating device containing electrolyzer with plug to fill alkaline electrolyte and gas accumulating system pipes whose anode and cathode arte connected to dc source and reactor connected with electrolyzer by pipes, heat tube with cup is secured on electrolyzer being connected with the latter through nipples. Gas lock is formed in cup when it is filled with water. Device contains system of valves which prevent mixing of water and electrolyte and equalize gas pressure over their surfaces. EFFECT: improved reliability of device and increased efficiency of heat generation. 2 cl, 1 dwg
