FIELD: rocket engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in development of split-up ammunition of cassette type. Cassette warhead includes jacket with bottom, container with front bottom and piston interjoined by means of longitudinal spars and central tube, cassettes with war elements, powder charges, initiator and forcing unit. Accumulating space housing initiator in the form of single-channel safety-actuating mechanism with two ignition powder charges fixed in symmetry on cylindrical ring made fast to front bottom of container is formed additionally in front part of container. Arming charges are placed between adjacent surfaces of cassettes and central tube, damping charges are positioned with the help of thrust rings in correspondence with them. In this case accumulating space is gas-dynamically coupled to space of container by discharge conduits made in front bottom of container and directed at arming charges. Gas dynamic windows are cut in flat surfaces of longitudinal spars, above line of contact with side surfaces of cassettes and zones of contact of spars with central tube, front bottom and piston of container. Usage of invention makes it possible to develop structure with split-up warhead of cassette type with uniform distribution of parameters of intrachamber process over all working spaces of cassette which ensures minimal passive mass of structure of specimen thanks to minimization and increased stability of power and heat loads on elements of structure. EFFECT: ensured minimal passive mass of structure. 2 dwg
