FIELD: rocket technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the development of cluster warheads, equipped mainly with large-sized submunitions. A cassette warhead containing a housing (1), tandemly located combat elements (2) with fuses (11) and through gas ducts (12), in front of which powder charges (13) and expendable washers (14) with throttle channels are mounted (15), accumulating cavities (3) between combat elements (2), expelling charge (5), forcing unit (6), piston (7), bottom (8), and an igniter charge (4) is placed in the front compartment (10), gas-dynamically connected with the accumulating cavities (3), and a clock (9). Between the combat elements (2) and the housing (1) damper chambers are formed, connected with the accumulating cavities (3) through slotted channels with a cross section of 0.15-0.30 of the through gas conduit (12).
EFFECT: increased reliability of functioning of the cassette warhead in a given temperature range under various climatic conditions by ensuring a reliable exit of the combat elements from the warhead housing by reducing the time of exposure of high-energy combustion products to the housing parts by the combat elements by introducing damper chambers connected with the accumulating cavities.
