FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the cluster warhead of a multiple launch rocket system projectile. The cassette warhead comprises a shell with a bottom, a cassette with striking elements, gas ducts, a forcing unit, powder charges and a command-and-control mechanism. The cassette is made in the form of a frame consisting of a front bottom and a piston, rigidly fastened to each other by means of axial gas ducts, and fixed in the shell by means of a forcing unit and an axial stop made on the inner surface of the shell. The gas ducts are equipped with cocking and separation charges placed at the beginning and end of the gas ducts and gas-dynamically connected to the heat-receiving devices of the striking elements due to the placement in the inter-element zones of distribution bushings with radial and axial channels oriented towards the heat-receiving devices of the striking elements. The shell is equipped with an adapter in which a command-executive mechanism with ignition-transfer powder charges is located. One of the ignition-transfer powder charges is gas-dynamically connected to the command-and-control mechanism. The cocking charges, tandemly placed at the beginning of the gas ducts, are separated from each other by a supporting intermediate spacer.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the cassette head design.
