FIELD: operations for destruction of ice jams in sections of rivers. SUBSTANCE: process of destruction of ice jam in rivers includes demolition of bank edges of ice jam by blasts directed towards its central part. Explosive charges are seated in ground of bank along bank line in narrowest point of riverbed at depth below water level on bank edge of ice jam. Blasting operation are started from lowest sections of ice jam downstream of river. EFFECT: increased efficiency of destruction of ice jam. 1 dwg
