FIELD: metrology, means measuring distance. SUBSTANCE: proposed device incorporates acoustic emission exciter, acoustic emission detector, former of leasing edge of pulse and three- channel electron unit. Acoustic emission exciter comes in the form of electric spark probe with generator of high-voltage pulses and control unit. Output START of control unit of probe is connected to input of former of leading edge of pulse which output is connected in parallel with inputs of counters of time interval meter and with input of line of adjustable delay of leading edge of pulse whose output is connected to control inputs of three electron keys connected in series in each channel of electron unit between band amplifier and comparator.
