FIELD: analytical chemistry, medicine. SUBSTANCE: copper (II) in serum blood samples is determined by carrying out indicator reaction of oxidation of hydroquinone with hydrogen peroxide in the presence of malonodinitrile on filter paper modified with hexamethylenediamine. Semiquantitative determination of copper (II) in serum sample is carried out visually. Method enhances effectiveness of express-method, reduces volume of serum sample to be analyzed, elevates amount of samples in parallel trial. Method can be used for diagnosis of viral hepatitis.
