FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method is realised through sorption of Pb (II) ions from the analysed solution onto a solid carrier in form of a fabric. Sorption is carried out by putting the fabric carrier into the analysed solution, followed by separation of the liquid phase and treating the fabric carrier with an organic reagent taken in amount of 0.032-0.158 wt % of the weight of the fabric carrier. The organic reagent used is 1-phenyl-3-isopropyl-5-(benzylbenzimidazol-2-yl)formazan in form of an ethanol solution. The treated fabric carrier is held in air for stabilisation of the appearing dye. Concentration of Pb (II) ions is determined visually by comparing intensity of the colour of the fabric carrier with an imitation colour scale.
EFFECT: wide range of testing apparatus while increasing sensitivity and maintaining accuracy of analysis results.
