THRUST BEARING BODY Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: heavy electromechanical engineering; structural parts of hydraulic-turbine generators. SUBSTANCE: thrust bearing body has top disk with holes and bottom disk carrying rigidly fixed sleeves joined together over inner diameter by cylinder and over outer one, by ribs disposed between sleeves. Top disk has non-split joint with cylinder and rib. Body is radially divided into separate vertical sections, each incorporating sectors of top disk with part of cylinder and bottom disk, with several ribs and sleeves in-between. Junction assemblies are installed between sections and have openings for oil circulation. Bottom disk is assembled with cylinder and with ribs by means of split joints. EFFECT: simplified design and facilitated manufacture of thrust bearing body. 1 cl, 3 dwg
