FIELD: electromechanical engineering; water-wheel generator parts including rotor shaft.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotor shaft designed for water-wheel generators running at comparatively low speed is made in the form of cylinder with non-split flange at bottom and ring-shaped tip on upper end of cylinder that mounts slip rings. Shaft is made in the form of thin-walled cylinder built of three parts welded together; ring-shaped tip has boss for fixing slip rings to upper end of thin-walled cylinder part; ring-shaped flange is secured to opposite end; thin-walled cylinder is disposed in drilling made on flange.
EFFECT: reduced metal input and labor consumption, simplified design of rotor shaft.
