FIELD: machine engineering, tooling of for metal cutting machine tools. SUBSTANCE: boring device includes three-cam self-aligning lathe chuck having helical-rack motion mechanism with cams in the form of cutter holders and small cone wheels. In order to provide comfortable tuning, boring device has additional cone wheel mounted in housing of chuck with possibility of rotation by action of small cone wheels and screw joined by thread with additional cone wheel and mounted coaxially relative to housing of chuck. Screw is joined with housing of chuck by means of pin and splineway with possibility of axial motion at rotation of additional cone wheel and it carries sleeve having cone lateral surface and fastened by means of cutter holders when sleeve is tuned by size.
