FIELD: chemical metal treatment. SUBSTANCE: invention provides a method for treatment of metallic surface before phosphatization comprising preparation of aqueous mixture of titanium-containing material, phosphoric acid, and soda ash followed by grinding of thus obtained composition to powder-like state, wherein titanium-containing material is sodium hexafluorotitanate and soda ash is added to aqueous mixture portionwise and, after adding a portion of soda ash at constant stirring, sodium hydroxide is added at velocity 8.5-9.5 kg/h to form working mixture heated to 80-120 C, to which sodium tripolyphosphate and the rest of soda ash are then added at stirring, provided that ratio sodium hydroxide/soda ash/ phosphoric acid is 28.3:1: 34.65.
