FIELD: burial of solid wastes at dumps.
SUBSTANCE: in many large settlements old non-functioning dumps of solid domestic wastes (SDW) are located within the boundaries of residential areas, which is inadmissible according to existing sanitary and epidemiological standards. Relocation of such dumps should envisage arrangement of SDW burial ground in compliance with RF legislation outside residential settlements that is expensive. Method of elimination SDW landfill provides for separation of landfills by method of dry screening by size and composition of dump content, extraction of fine fraction – landfill soil, which can be up to 70 % of weight of all buried wastes, and its transfer into reclaiming soil with further use for recultivation of area cleaned from SDW, and wood and polymer wastes separated from landfills, scrap metal, construction litter, scrap of asphalt and asphalt-concrete coatings are directed for secondary processing. Finely dispersed fraction is neutralized by treatment with air heated to 80±10 °C and aqueous solutions of bischofite with concentration of 26 g/l and potassium salts of humic acids with concentration of 0.5 g/l. Number of solutions makes 3–10 % of each weight of treated soil.
EFFECT: technical result of proposed invention is complete elimination of existing dump and reclamation of contaminated territory.
