FIELD: decontamination of liquids from pathogenic micro-organisms; preparation of water; treatment of domestic and industrial runoffs. SUBSTANCE: proposed device is made in form of electrode unit consisting of current-conducting lattice-type electrodes and dielectric material. Electrode unit includes at least three lattice-type electrodes located across flow of liquid being treated and assembled by means of strainers centering holes of lattice-type electrodes, thus forming passages for liquid being treated. Dielectric material located between each adjacent lattice-type electrodes is made from fluoroplastic in form of mono-fibers (twisted or woven) on side of each second electrode. EFFECT: low hydraulic resistance of liquid; constant flow rate through passages; enhanced efficiency of decontamination at minimum density of current; reduced power requirements. 14 cl, 1 dwg,1 ex
