FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed methods are intended for use in the course of construction of buildings and structures, their reconstruction or repairs for sealing interpanel joints and organizing protection of wall structures employed under heavy temperature fluctuations, excessive vibrations, impacts of chemical agents, excessive fire and explosion hazard. Repair method includes mechanical cleaning of joints, degreasing of surfaces, fill-up of joint with polyurethane foam, application of double-component polyurethane putty strip to one side of wall, width of this strip being minimum 30 cm, evaporation of polyurethane foam compound layer, minimum 15 mm thick, onto entire surface of putty strips, application of double-component polyurethane putty over entire surface on other side of wall, and application of at least two layers of fire-resistant silicone compound, 200-800 mcm thick. Method for sealing interpanel joints and for organizing protection of newly erected wall structures involves same procedures with the exception of cleaning and degreasing operations. Assembly obtained incorporates foam layer between mating surfaces of wall panels, polyurethane putty strip, minimum 30 cm wide, homogeneous layer of polyurethane foam compound, minimum 15 mm thick, evaporated onto putty strips over entire surface of wall, polyurethane putty layer applied on other side of wall over its entire surface, and fire-resistant silicone compound layer, 200-800 mcm thick, applied over polyurethane putty layer and/or polyurethane foam layer. EFFECT: facilitated procedures for repairing interpanel joints and organizing protective layer for wall or for sealing interpanel joints in the course of erecting new building or structure. 10 cl, 1 dwg
