FIELD: instrumentation, measurement of geometrical parameters of heated parts. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in metallurgy, in rolling, and in mechanical engineering, in manufacture of large-sized parts. Digital opticoelectron converter of size has lens, luminous flux modulator coming in the form of immobile and mobile masks installed in image plane of lens and making oscillatory motions with the use of drive of vibration displacement, photoconverter, photocurrent amplifier, electron processing circuit made up of two selective filters tuned to different frequencies which inputs are connected to output of amplifier of photocurrent and which outputs are connected to inputs of low-frequency filters which outputs are connected to two-input switch coupled to integrator connected with output to comparator, output of the latter being connected to first input of flip-flop. Digital opticoelectron converter also incorporates clock pulse generator connected to frequency divider which output is connected to controlling input of switch and second input of flip-flop connected with output to controlling input of key placed between clock-pulse generator and pulse counter. EFFECT: enhanced measurement accuracy thanks to insertion of luminous flux modulators operating in narrow frequency band, which allows signal-to-noise ratio to be raised, and additive component (zero drift) to be excluded. 3 dwg
