FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: proposed converter is designed for use in mechanical engineering for manufacture of large-sized parts during high-temperature technological processes. It includes lens, mask with two windows, photoconverters, information processing circuit manufactured in the form of first commutator which output is connected to input of photocurrent amplifier whose output is connected to two inputs of second commutator. Photoconverters are connected to input of first commutator. Output of second commutator is connected to integrator linked to comparator connected to one of inputs of flip-flop. Controlling inputs of commutators and other input of flip-flop are connected to frequency divider linked to clock frequency generator. Output of flip-flop is connected to controlling input of key connecting clock pulse generator to pulse counter. EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement of dimensions of articles manufactured in hot conditions. 3 dwg
